Fine Tuning At Its Best
men-tor: noun, a wise and trusted adviser or guide
Have ever thought it would helpful to have someone you could email or call for advice or guidance?
Perhaps you have a question regarding a client, but you do not know who to ask.
Or do you have some specific questions that go deeper than what is taught in class?
This is where a mentor is helpful. A mentor provides you with someone you can turn to who has the experience and skill for which you aim.
The base word for "mentor" is men-, which means "to think".
As your mentor I help you learn how to think through a situation, whether it is a concern or problem with a client or figuring out a nuance of a technique.
Have you reached a plateau in your career or your level of skill?
Working with me you will have the opportunity to overcome personal challenges.
As your mentor I encourage you to go beyond where you are now to where you want to be. I am here as a sounding board and support. I will give you thoughtful and encouraging feedback.
Having a mentor helps to prevent you from picking up bad habits or getting sloppy with your terminology. It increases your level of professionalism, as I strive to help all my mentees be outstanding in their field, as good or better than I am.
Do you have a particular goal in mind?
What do you strive for in your practice?
What can I help you with?
Call or email me and tell me what you want to work on.
Mentoring can be done over the phone, via Skype or one-on-one in the office.
