The day has come and you're ready to schedule your Practical Exam.
You've worked hard to get to this point.
I know you're nervous. Perhaps you're also a bit apprehensive and scared. Being examined is never an easy thing - I know, I've been there myself for both the Techniques and the Diplomate Exam.
Hopefully by now we've worked together in some manner.
Perhaps we've done some mentoring, some multiple hand sessions or maybe you've even been in a class I TAd or you've been on my table.
If you're ready to take you're CST Techniques Practical Exam I'd be honored to be your examiner.
Since I've been through the experience, I know your palms might get cold and clammy, you might sweat profusely and your tongue might get tied.
I understand what nervousness and jittery does to the competent therapist that you are at home.
So I'll do my best to help you relax and get comfortable, with me and the experience.
If the brain is having a difficult time making your tongue say the correct things we'll work it out.
Therapists and students tell me they enjoy working with me because of my ability to help them put words to what their hands know. People use different styles to communicate and process information. When you work with me I work with your "style" so you can then relax and not have to try so hard.
Your exam is intended to be a manner for you to demonstrate your competency in the CST techniques.
I want it to be a rewarding learning experience for you.
I want you to realize:
So schedule your exam with me and stay for a few extra days in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan where there's lots of fresh air, crystal clear water and no stress. And consider getting a couple sessions for yourself.
...it's time to call or email me and schedule your exam!
(Yay you're almost done! And if I previously wrote you a cheer, I'll perform it for you.)
